🏀 Program Overview
How much does it cost to play AAU with Just Us Basketball?
Our program operates on a combination of tuition and fundraising. Families may choose to fundraise or opt out and pay tuition directly.
Fees cover:
Gym rentals & training
Tournament entry fees
Coaching & operations
Program development
There is also a one-time uniform fee ($50–$150 depending on package). Uniforms can be reused across seasons until outgrown.
What does the AAU season look like?
We operate year-round with four structured seasons:
Spring: Feb – April
Summer: May – July
Fall: Aug – Oct
Winter: Nov – Jan
Players commit to one full season at a time to maintain team consistency and development.

What happens after tryouts?
Players are evaluated based on:
Skill level
Effort and attitude
Team fit
Roster spots are limited. Once selected and registered, players are roster-locked for the season.
What if my child doesn’t make a team?
We encourage continued development through:
Skills classes
Camps
Developmental league
Not making a team just means “not yet.”
I played for another AAU team—can I switch?
Yes, but if your athlete competed in an AAU event within the last 60 days, a player release form from the previous club is required.

How often do teams practice?
Teams practice 1–2 times per week (1–2 hours per session), depending on the season and team level.
Do teams travel?
Our primary focus is local competition and development.
Occasionally, we may offer travel tournaments. When we do:

Do I need a uniform?
Yes. Players wear a Just Us reversible jersey and shorts.

📝 Registration & Policies
Why do I need to upload a player photo?
Photos help coaches identify players during evaluations and team selection.
What is your cancellation policy?
AAU is a season-based commitment. Once a player accepts a roster spot, planning begins immediately.
$500 early cancellation fee applies if leaving before season completion
No refunds once the season begins (first practice or tournament), except where required by California law
Fees are non-transferable
This policy reflects real costs like tournaments, gym time, and staffing.
