Barkada Cultural Basketball Program

The Barkada Cultural Basketball Program is a Filipino-American and multicultural initiative that integrates basketball with cultural education, family engagement, and community-based activities. The program is designed to strengthen cultural identity, promote inclusion, and foster positive social connections among youth ages 9–17.

Program components include:
• Monthly basketball tournaments
• Cultural workshops and learning sessions
• Family gatherings and community events
• Heritage celebrations
• Youth storytelling and cultural expression

By combining athletic participation with cultural education, Barkada Basketball supports youth in developing pride in their heritage, respect for diverse cultures, and strong peer and family relationships.
